There are a number of ways you can get involved in the work of Cochrane. One way to do this is to visit the Join Cochrane website, where you can create an account and specify all the ways you may like to be involved in Cochrane across the Collaboration. This will also give you an idea of the breadth of opportunities available. We recommend going down this route if you do not have an author team and do not want to start a review from scratch.
However, if you are specifically interested in carrying out a review with the Cochrane Tobacco Addiction Group then we advise that you look through the links on the left-hand side. 'The reviewing process' provides an overview of what carrying out a Cochrane Review entails; and 'FAQs for authors' gives information on what type of reviews our team carry out and what would be required of your author team. We also urge you to look through our existing reviews in the Cochrane Library to get an idea of the content of our reviews, and the reviews that have and have not already been carried out.
If, after looking through this information you feel that your author team and review idea fit our Group's criteria then please 'Contact us' with your proposed review title. If we think this may be a project we can support then we will ask you to complete a Title Registration Form.
